"When work is a pleasure, life is joy! When work is a duty, life is slavery."
- Maxim Gorky
Late afternoon fun shoot. Mini-picnic with my BGFF and business partner, Cameron.
Camera: we didn't appreciate you giving up on us less than an hour into the shoot!
The red dress is 70 + years old. The original owner is a very charming lady in her 90's. She wore this dress when she was a teenager. I love the scoop neck and the 2 faux pockets. The faux pockets had the initials "M & L" for Mary Lunsford. I had to remove it to make it my own.
This dress will be up for sale soon. Sign up so I can keep you posted!
Photo: 30's linen/muslin red dress, single strand white bakelite necklace from the 60's.
1940's fascinator hat. Velvet lined. Original owner was an opera singer from the 50's.
Photo: Hard to find authentic USN pea coat in MINT condition, Government issued 1976. Six visible buttons and all carry an anchor design on the front. The lining of the coat is quilted and there is an inside pocket. Double-breasted.
Cameron is wearing vintage Balmain tie with geometric pattern.
Remember friends, Its a fact of life that history repeats itself; fashion and clothing trends are no exception. Since fashion is cyclical, there is always some style from the past that has been made new again. When you purchase a vintage piece, you are getting something that cannot be found at every chain store by the thousands. It is a limited, if not one of a kind, item just for you.......
Spread vintage amore!

Francesca & Cameron
Sneek peak....more to come!
